Daylight Savings Time Patches
YDL v5.0 and newer does not require a patch. For v3.x and v4.x, please follow the instructions herein.
- Download cvs.terraplex.com/~owen/tzdata-2007/RPMS/ (the yd3 package is for YDL 3.0.x,
and the yd4 package is for YDL 4.x.x).
- Install the packages:
rpm -Uvh tzdata-2006g-1.ydX.noarch.rpm [ENTER]
- Confirm the update was successful with the following command:
/usr/sbin/zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007 [ENTER]
- If the output of zdump does not show DST starting on March 11:
cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/US/
/etc/localtime [ENTER]
